The outside enclosure dimensions do not identify the load-bearing skid rails or centre of gravity. Obtain the transport drawing for the complete assembly.
Measure before selecting
- Skid contact rails and support spacing
- Total packaged height with dunnage
- Lifting-point access and enclosure width
- Shipping weight including retained fluids
Loading approach
Confirm lift or forklift access, lifting mass and fork-pocket positions. Maintain room to remove rigging after placement.
Support & load concentration
Locate the skid rails over suitable structure. Check whether levelling blocks, isolators or delicate equipment prohibit support at other points.
Configuration traps
A generator may have different dry, operating and packaged shipping weights. Retain the correct basis.

Keep the model reference, actual attachment configuration, measured transport envelope and support drawing together. A change to the machine or its loading position requires the affected comparisons to be updated.
