TRAILER FAMILY

Double Drop

A double-drop trailer creates a low central well between raised front and rear deck sections. It is a useful direction when the load is tall and can be placed into a defined well.

GEOMETRY

How the deck is arranged

Two deck transitions define the central well. Well length, well height and the clear envelope between transitions determine whether the load geometry fits.

LOADING METHOD

How the load reaches the deck

Many loads are lifted into the well or placed with specialized procedures. Plan crane or forklift access, rigging clearance and securement before treating the geometry as suitable.

COMMON APPLICATIONS

Where this family starts to fit

  • Tall industrial components
  • Crane components
  • Equipment with a compact footprint
PRELIMINARY SELECTION

Questions to answer before calling it a fit.

Use this page to frame the first conversation. Manufacturer documentation, measured load data, securement planning and route review control the final selection.
