What is the final boom and attachment position?

Backhoes & telehandlers

Stow stabilizers, rear boom, forks and buckets according to the machine’s transport instructions before measuring the envelope.

Measure before selecting

  • Stowed boom height and rear projection
  • Bucket / fork transport width
  • Wheelbase and tyre contact locations
  • Complete transport weight

Loading approach

Check clearance at the front attachment, rear boom and stabilizer feet throughout the ramp climb. A hydraulic tail needs a documented lifting limit.

Support & load concentration

Short wheel contact areas create concentrated deck loading. Record axle reactions where available and keep the load basis explicit.

Configuration traps

A telescopic boom should not be assumed fully retracted or removable simply to make a shortlist pass.

Build the load record

Keep the model reference, actual attachment configuration, measured transport envelope and support drawing together. A change to the machine or its loading position requires the affected comparisons to be updated.

Equipment links support research. Highway Match uses the measurements you enter and does not silently import a related model’s values.
