A capacity number is not a stand-alone payload promise. The usable result depends on the weakest applicable limit across the complete combination and the way the load is supported.
Separate the ratings
Structural capacity, concentrated-load limits, axle ratings and gross combination limits answer different questions. Ask which rating is being quoted and under what conditions it applies.

Placement changes the result
Two loads with the same weight can create different reactions if their footprints and centres of gravity differ. The load plan must establish support and securement before capacity is treated as usable.

Keep the rating label beside the number
The TK80ACS reference carries an 80,000-pound distributed rating and a 60,000-pound rating over 10 feet. A 65,000-pound load cannot be screened against the larger figure unless its load-support basis is appropriate. In Highway Match, a concentrated comparison also requires the stated support length. An unknown support basis remains unresolved rather than borrowing the most generous published number.

Turn a shortlist into a purchase question
Ask the manufacturer or seller to identify the exact chart and configuration that supports the proposed load. Supply the complete transported weight, support drawing, centre of gravity and loading method. Ask which options or modifications change the answer. The marketplace can identify relevant references; only the actual trailer documentation and load review can resolve its suitability for a particular move.
